My path has taken me from a life as international athlete to a life where exercise plays a role in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Through my experiences I have developed a real interest in sport psychology, which studies not only the effect of the mind on performance, but also the effect of exercise on the mind and well-being.

Being of a competitive nature, I have always tried to find ways to improve my performances in order to reach my potential. In the study of sport psychology I have discovered the incredible power of the mind has on performance and I am convinced that a sound mental preparation is a key element of training for anyone who wishes to reach his true potential.

On the other hand, through my experiences in a variety of sports such as running, basketball, squash, horse riding, cross-country skiing, and biking, I have become aware of the positive effects exercise has on well-being, and of the importance of managing energy in all areas. Exercise has become an essential part of my life and I am convinced that it is a necessary component in order to be able to savor life to its full extent.

With my studies I aim at maximizing my personal and professional development in order to perform better and to acquire the necessary skills to be able to help you more efficiently in finding solutions to your problems and to be able to assist you better in reaching your potential. After having completed a Bachelor degree in physical education and having started a career in teaching and sports, I turned my interest to the field of psychology. I completed a Master degree in counseling psychology before finding my true calling in sports psychology, which combines my passion for sports and performance with that for psychology. I undertook a Doctorate in applied sports psychology at the Optimal Performance Institute (OPI) in California. I completed my degree in the spring of 2007. I attend seminars on a regular basis in order to keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of sport psychology.

Being genuinely interested in helping people, it is my desire to share my knowledge and experiences with all those who are interested in improving their performances or their well-being.

I work with athletes of the Luxembourg Olympic Committee competing in a variety of sports, as well as with recreational athletes of all levels and all ages. I also work with professionals who wish to improve their well-being.
